Salon Service Policies:

  • CLIENT RELEASE WAIVER

​

I acknowledge my choice in salon professionals and understand that the services I request may:

​

1) Have varying results based on my individual hair and scalp.

 

2) I have made Amber Curbow aware of important and pertinent information regarding past chemical services and current product regimen.

 

3) I understand the risk of damage to jewelry, clothing and personal property I wear and bring to my appointment. (It is recommended to remove earrings and necklaces before services are rendered.)

 

4) I acknowledge I have signed the following statement the day of my salon appointment: Hereby agree to release Amber Curbow, 1420 N Mullan Rd. Suite 120 Spokane Valley, WA 99206 from any responsibility and/or liability concerning the application, processing, and/or consequences of any chemical, mechanical, technical or therapeutic procedures provided for my hair, scalp or body. I acknowledge I have read and understand this liability release waiver.

 

5) I have been made aware by Amber Curbow, an independent contractor, that I am choosing services based on an agreed upon plan that chooses best practices for my hair, scalp, mental, emotional and physical health. I understand that it is my personal responsibility to disclose what chemicals/products I have used in my hair and understand that after an in person assessment of my hair's current status, Amber Curbow will use best professional judgment. I understand that at times what’s best for me is a refusal to perform a service that would not be good for me or my hair/scalp.

 

6) I understand that I have the right to choose not to accept a service suggestion but may be charged a non refundable fee of $65. 

 

7) I acknowledge I have the freedom to discuss any questions and concerns with Amber Curbow.

 

  • SERVICE RE-DO & RETAIL RETURN POLICY: I strive to offer my clients the highest level of guest satisfaction.  If you are having challenges with your hair cut or color, please let me know within 7 days of your salon visit and I will be happy to correct the issue with no additional charge.   Should you make a retail purchase that you are unsatisfied with, I will accept retail exchanges at full credit for 60 days from your initial purchase.  By signing our Salon Service Policies you agree to these terms and would like to continue with services today.​

 

  • INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY: I reserve the right to reschedule an appointment due to inclement weather in Eastern Washington + North Idaho. This may include school district snow days within affected areas or hazardous commute over 4th of July Pass, etc. You will be notified by phone as soon as possible to allow for arrangements. Reasonable measures will be taken to reschedule your appointment a.s.a.p. when it is prudent to do so.

  • Cancellation Policy: We understand that things can come up. We value your time, and hope you value ours too. In the event you need to cancel your appointment, please be sure to cancel online no later than 24 hours before your scheduled appointment. This can be quickly done on the same Online Booking page you used to schedule an appointmentFailure to notify in time will incur a cancellation fee and an email with attached invoice must be paid before another appointment will be approved. Any appointment not cancelled within 24 hours of the scheduled date and time falls under my cancellation policy protocol. You will be invoiced 25% of the price of what the scheduled services were valued at. If you have any questions regarding this policy please communicate them before committing to an appointment.

  • Salon Etiquette: Discriminatory/Derogatory statements and actions are prohibited in the salon and will not be tolerated. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone behaving improperly, intoxicated or if their state of health may influence the effects of the service.

 

  • Confidentiality and Privacy: Every client has the right to privacy and confidentiality. The conversations you have with your stylist will remain confidential. Client information and email lists are confidential and will not be sold or shared with outside companies.
